Summer Rhapsody
“Summer Time and the livin’ is easy” – words of the famous song “Summertime” by Gershwin which can heard alongside a wonderful medley of beautiful songs in forthcoming concert by Oswestry ladies Choir in the Memorial Hall in Oswestry.
This collection of songs in many varied styles incudes songs from the Swing Era by Cole Porter, Folk Songs from the British Isles: Spirituals; Gospel: Opera; Gilbert and Sullivan; Film Music; Musical Theatre and so much more.
A very versatile programme by a choir who can sing anything from Mozart to Musical Theatre, Choral pops to Puccini.
Summer Rhapsody, conducted by Dawn Jaffray, will be a very entertaining evening.
The concert will be held in the Memorial Hall, Oswestry on Saturday June 10th at 7.30pm.
