The title of Oswestry Ladies Choir's next concert says it all - "What a Wonderful World". The choir embarks on a musical journey around the world, singing enthusiastically in Swedish, Japanese, French, Swahili, English and, of course, Welsh. This appealing music is easy to listen to as each song has it's own charm and beauty. Included are Sakura, El Vito, Sous le Ciel de Paris, La Cumparsita (an Argentinian Tango), Moscow Nights and many more, concluding with the ever popular Welsh favourite Hafan Gobaith.

Joining the choir for this whirlwind musical tour is Katherine Macdonald, a young singer from Ellesmere who is a soloist and Director with Oswestry Musical Theatre. Katherine is a popular soloist throughout Shropshire and is guaranteed to delight with her beautiful voice.

The concert, conducted by Dawn Jaffray, takes place on Saturday 21st April 2018 at The Marches School at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced at £10 adults and under 16's free, are available from choir members, The Herbarium, Oswestry, by 'phone - 01691 654802, or on the door.
